Valley View Kindergarten
We provide a safe, stimulating and play-based environment to help children develop positive life skills. We foster curiosity, exploration, self-motivation, active engagement and a willingness to take risks and try new things. We work in partnership with families, service providers and agencies to make kindergarten challenging, exciting and fun.
Preschool program
Your child can attend preschool for up to 15 hours per week.
Children attending the Speech and Language program are in the blue group.
Children attending our kindergarten transition to a range of schools. We strive to place children in ‘school groups’ as they commence kindergarten at the beginning of the year so they, along with their families, develop a connectedness with each other.
Blue Group
Monday 8:30am to 3:20pm
Wednesday 8:30am to 3:20pm
Friday 8:30am to 3:20pm (weeks 1 and 2)
Red Group
Tuesday 8:30am to 3:20pm
Thursday 8:30am to 3:20pm
Friday 8:30am to 3:20pm (weeks 3 and 4)
Occasional Care
When we have the capacity, unfunded occasional care is available for enrolled children on negotiation with staff. Please speak to us if you require occasional care.

Volunteering
If you’d like to volunteer with us, we’d love to hear from you. See volunteering in schools, preschools and children’s centres and have a chat to us about how you can get involved.
We invite you to join the governing council, which meets twice a term to make sure the preschool runs smoothly. Read through what a governing council does and speak to us to register your interest.

Our Catchment Area
Our preschool has a catchment area. If you live in the catchment area, your child will usually be able to enrol at our preschool. If you don’t, your child might still be able to enrol, but only if there are enough places.
